Back to the Beach!!

Well, the Fourth of July is upon us and in the Weaver family that means we head to Florida for our annual family vacation in Seaside.  Seaside is one of our favorite places in the whole world.  Our family has been going for over 20 years and we have so many memories of this wonderful place.  We have witnessed the town and our family grow and change so much over the years.  What started out as a desolate tiny cluster of pastel colored houses on Florida's gulf coast and three young girls running in its surf has now become a quaint, bustling vacation metropolis and three grown women with husbands and children of their own playing in the sugar white sand. My sisters and I have grown up with this being our family vacation every summer and it is such a pleasure watching my neices and now my own child experiencing the same.

So, this past Sunday, us girls and Wade loaded up in three cars and started the trek to Florida.
Pulling out...

My neice Ava, cousin Jordan and Aunt Dianne (Nanna)

After a two day drive full of drama (uh, getting lost and driving into a soybean field, thanks Toppy), acts of stupidity (Peaches, next time remember to fill up for gas when we stop for that very reason) and many, many stops (we were travelling with three children under the age of 5) we finally arrived to find our home for the next two weeks, Saratoga, ready for our arrival.

Now, for the next two weeks all we have to be concerned with is relaxing on the porch...

riding bikes...
Devin and my neice, Reece on their way to the grocery store

playing in the waves...
Ava showing off her MAD boogie board skills!

many trips to Heavenly Shortcakes, good food, fun in the sun and enjoying lots of quality family time.
